Sonni Balli, a popular reggae and dancehall artist has died

Sonni Balli, popular know in the music scene as a dancehall and reggae artist has died.

Sonny Kwabena Amoako Akoanor is dead.

Sonni Balli who lives in the United Kingdom had a cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

According to Mike Dalington, he spoke with Sonni Balli on Monday when he was celebrating his 40th birthday.

Mike Dalington spoken to Giovanni on 3FM Drive where he said “I still don’t want to believe he is dead because I spoke to him just this Monday. We talked about some songs which have been in the studio for long and even planned on releasing it on a specific date,” he said with a shivering voice.
