Manchester United are looking forward to revamp their squad and also make some summer clearances of players under new manager Erik ten Hag.

Manchester United are on the verge of making some clearances after their new head coach Erik ten Hag flew from Amsterdam to start work.

Ten Hag is currently staying in London after his arrival on Wednesday by private jet and will be available this weekend at Selhurst Park to watch United’s final league match against Crystal Palace this weekend from the stands.

The former Ajax manager is yet to meet with the playing body of Manchester United for the first time after he officially takes over on Monday. It is said to be up to 10 players are expected to leave Old Trafford this summer as Erik ten Hag seeks to make a fresh start at Old Trafford.

United are ready to listen to offers for right back Aaron Wan-Bissaka who came to Old Trafford three years after arriving from Palace in a deal of $62m. Erik ten Hag seems to have similar view of the decision made by interim boss Ralf Rangnick on Aaron Wan-Bissaka who has lost his place to Diogo Dalot.

Manchester United No 2 goalkeeper, Dean Henderson is set to leave the Theater of Dreams this summer. His representatives have re-open talks with Newcastle United over a possible loan plus a permanent stay deal although negotiations have not reached an advanced stage.

Henderson only featured three times this season for the Red Devils after he has failed to displace in-form David de Gea as Manchester United No1. He is desperate for first team football so he could be eligible for call-up for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar for England.

United will allow more departures take place in the coming months. With Paul Labile Pogba leading the list of free agents in United’s transfer this summer, it is said that his lawyer Rafaela Pimenta has been in touch with the likes of Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid for a possible move for his client which Juventus is leading the race to have Pogba’s signature.

Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata, Edinson Cavani and Lee Grant will all depart Old Trafford for free like Paul Pogba as well as Jesse Lingard who has been at Old Trafford since childhood is also set to leave and could rejoin West Ham after a successful loan spell at the London Stadium.

Manchester United is set to offload center-backs Eric Bailly and Phil Jones, with Harry Maguire’s future still in doubt when Ten Hag strengthens that position as it is said United are in a chase for Ajax Jurrien Timber.

Erik ten Hag now have Mitchell van der Gaag as his number two as he takes over as the new manager from Monday as well as Sir Alex Ferguson’s former assistant Steve McClaren who has worked with Ten Hag before is expected to be part of his backroom team.
