  • CHRISTOPHER NKUNKU WANTED BY MANY EUROPIAN GIANTS

Nkunku who plays his football for RB Leipzig has been sensational this season and many clubs are battling for his signature. Christopher has refused to rule out rumours of him leaving RB Leipzig this summer with ongoing links connecting him to Liverpool and Manchester United.

The French international has been superb this season after netting a hat trick in September against Manchester City in the Champions League. Nkunku has scored 35 goals for Leipzig in all competitions in the 2021-2022 season of which 20 was Bundesliga goals and also recorded 20 assists in all competitions and has had an outstanding campaign.

Christopher Nkunku made 51 appearances for RB Leipzig and had a 55 goal involvement with which seven (7) of them being scored in the Champions League which is the best of his career.

According to reports, Manchester United are said to prepare a bid of 60 million pounds to RB Leipzig to secure Nkunku. Liverpool are also interested in the French forward to replace the Egyptian forward in case he leaves Anfield.

Christopher Nkunku has open doors for Paris Saint Germain in case they want him to return him. “Paris is my home, the club of my heart. I am not closing any doors. Everything is possible in football,” he said in a press conference ahead of France’s upcoming Nations League games, as reported by Get French Football News.

 “It’s nice to have the biggest clubs in the world interested in me, but it’s also great that Leipzig are doing the maximum to keep hold of me.”

  • VILLARREAL CENTRE-BACK PAU TORRES BREAKS SILENCE ON MANCHESTER UNITED MOVE

The probability of Pau Torres to join Manchester United has been of a green light as his representatives was spotted at the office of Manchester United. Erik ten Hag is desperate in bringing the Villarreal stalwart Pau Torres to Manchester United this summer.

Ten Hag has given his approval to United for them to sign the Spanish international Pau Torres as United looks to bolster their options in the heart of their defence. Torres has had an impressive season with Villarreal after guiding his side to a Champions league semi-final in which they were knocked out by Liverpool to reach the finals.

According to Spanish radio station Cadena Ser, the transfer of Pau Torres to United has been discussed and negotiated with the player’s representatives, who have travelled to England this weekend, to speed up the process.

Spanish daily AS quoted Pau Torres as saying, “Right now there is nothing at all, there is talk of many things like every year, I have peace of mind of being where they want me, at the club of my life and I have this offer right now that I value as very positive”.

“There is nothing right now, the only thing I have is the offer from Villarreal, so I am very calm.”

Torres still has a release clause in his current deal which runs out in 2024, in the region of £55million, after he penned a contract extension three years ago.

Ten Hag has made it clear that De Jong is going to be the main leading man in the new set that he Erik ten Hag is going to put in place at Manchester United this coming season. He was him to been the main key figure and first on the team sheet always when he is fit. The new team is basically going to be on him if he comes to United.

Frenkie de Jong now accepts he is unlikely to have a future at Barcelona. Manchester United have now concentrated all their efforts on getting the deal done for him for the past few days. The deal is believed to have moved closer.
