Winner for TV3 Talented Kids season one and runner-up for MTN hitmaker season 7 Awal Mohammed has waded into the Strongman-Medikal beef and has disclosed that the two rappers are wack.
In an interview on Highlife Paradise on Rainbow Radio 87.5fm, Awal was asked to share his view on the beef between the two rappers and who he would pick as the best rapper since he is also a rapper.
But in Awal’s reaction, he made it clear that he doesn’t see them as good rappers because his craft was far ahead of the two.
A host of the show tried to caution him on the statement he was making since the two were very big brands but the ‘Keep Feeling it’ hitmaker questioned the host on why he couldn’t make such statement against his fellow rappers.
“Why can’t I make such comments? It is my right to express my opinion. That is my opinion. They [Medikal and Strongman] are not good to me. I am also a rapper so I feel I am a better rapper than the two of them.’’ he said.
”They are not hard like I am but they have had the chance to shine hence they are seen as good rappers”, he said to back up his earlier comments.
He also shockingly stated that rap music in Ghana was dead and he is the only rap artiste to revive rap music in Ghana. The two artistes are not dope to me.’’

According to Awal, rap music in Ghana is dead and no rapper can claim the title of the best rapper and as well calling the current crop of rappers as wack and not up to standard.
