According to the former Sarkcess Music signee, his former boss and Ghana’s best rapper of all time Sarkodie, deserves some accolades and it’s certainly not only for signing him (Strongman) onto his music label two years ago but also for choosing him over the chunk of rappers Ghana had at the time he signed him
Strongman’s comment comes at a time when section of music lovers are backlashing the African rap god for not maintaining him (Strongman) on his record label after their two-year contract ended last week
Some critics have unreasonably alleged that Sarkodie signed Strongman unto his music label to kill his career because he felt he was a threat to him in the last 2 years. Some also believe that Strongman’s relationship with Sarkodie had little or no positive impact on him as a rapper
However, addressing some of these issues in his latest tune dubbed ‘The second coming’, Strongman on the contrary told critics Sarkodie and the entire Sarkcess music team deserve applause and we believe it’s a good a sign of maturity.
Some of the verses in the song clearly shows that he knows how the industry works. For instance a verse in the song reads: “w’atena wopapa fie aky3 a ewos3 wotu, against fo wei nso 3wo s3 su?” Meaning he has been in his father’s (Sarkodie) house for too long so it’s time to move on but he’s wondering why critics are crying over that. He also likened Sarkodie to Kwame Nkrumah who had lot of enemies regardless of his good efforts to push Ghana

Meanwhile, a rumor reaching Thenewsgh.com indicates that another Sarkcess music signee, Akwaboah is also preparing to leave Sarkcess music once his contract come to an end. If that happens, there will be no artiste on the record label but since there’s more time, let’s wait and see what happens.
