The Black Stars midfielder has become a co-owner of the Spanish lower-tier club, Kickgh.com understands.
Ghana international Thomas Teye Partey has acquired Spanish club Club Alcobendas Sports with some other partners to takeover.
The 26-year-old has revealed his interest to become a football administrator after retirement as he joins in running the Spanishower-tier club.
“Thomas Partey has followed this summer. The hero of Atletico in the comeback of the last day of the League against Éibar has been one of the four responsible for making decisions for the management of Alcobendas Sport, in the Third Division of Madrid since August.” the club’s statement reads.
“He brings his experience in football and for boys it is a great stimulus to see Thomas through our stadium,” they explain to ABC from the entity,”
He is regarded as one of the best midfielder in Europe for the past season following his exploits at Atletico Madrid.
Partey is currently a key member of the senior national team of Ghana.
